Every client is unique and pain is extremely subjective. Because I prep the area with numbing cream before performing any procedure, I’m mindful of pressure, and work in a timely manner— my clients tend to experience very minimal to no pain. I’ve had clients experience zero pain over the eyebrows and eyes. At most, if the numbing cream wears off, clients will rate the discomfort at a level 2-3 on a pain scale. If a client feels too much discomfort, I apply a secondary numbing solution which immediately allows me to continue the procedure more comfortably for the client. I always ask the client how they feel and more then likely they no longer feel much if anything at all. Lips are highly vascular. Numbing cream & working intentionally helps reduce any anticipated discomfort.
