PERMANENT MAKEUP

BEFORE PROCEDURE

  • Allow brow hair growth

  • Avoid chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and facials for 4 weeks

  • 2 weeks prior to appointment stop using any skin thinners on area (glycolic acids, exfoliation, vitamin A)

  • Wait 2-3 weeks after botox/fillers. As long as possible as advised.

  • If waxing/tinting at least 2 days prior

  • If traveling and being exposed to sunlight, wait 2 weeks

  • No alcohol/caffeine 48 hrs prior

AFTER CARE

  • Keep area clean (light layer of Aquafor, gentle wash with cool water)

  • No makeup/skincare on area for a week

  • Avoid steam showers, sauna, pool for 3 weeks

  • Avoid wiping and abrasive washcloths, gently pat dry

  • Do not rub, pick, scratch area. Allow scabbing to naturally exfoliate off

  • Refrain from working out if possible for first week

  • Avoid sun exposure/tanning beds 4 weeks minimum

  • Avoid sleeping on face for first 10 days

  • No facials, chemical treatments, microdermabrasion for a month

  • No botox for 4 weeks, wait until after your touch up heals

LIPS : Follow all guidelines above and below:

BEFORE PROCEDURE

  • Avoid botox/lip filler for 30 days

  • Exfoliate lips gently 3-4 days before procedure, helps pigment implantation

  • Keep area moisturized with lip balm for atleast 1 week

  • If history of cold sores, consider anti-viral medication (Valtrex) 2-4 days prior

  • Eat before your session (lengthy service time)

AFTER PROCEDURE

  • Moisturize lips with light layer of ointment every day as needed

  • Avoid spicy, oily, heavily seasoned, acidic food and drinks during healing

  • If history of cold sores, consider anti-viral medication (Valtrex) 2-4 days prior

  • No botox around lips and no lip filler until after your touch up heals 30 days

  • Avoid aggressive kissing/biting during healing

MAKEUP SESSIONS

BEFORE MAKEUP APPOINTMENT

  • Prioritize skincare weeks before appointment

  • Do not try new skin care/products week prior

  • Avoid chemical peels, microdermabrasion

  • Refrain from spray tanning face

  • If getting permanent makeup, schedule 1-2 weeks prior to allow healing

  • If getting botox/filler allow injection site to close-allow a few hours (best 24hrs or more)

  • Stay hydrated

  • Gently exfoliate night before

  • Get a good nights sleep

  • Adequate space for kit during on site services

  • Best natural lighting possible for session

  • Moisturize face/lips one hour before

  • Clean face free of makeup products

  • Answer phone calls/messages prior

  • Have a few inspo looks to share

  • Loose clothing, button up, zip up to avoid smudging

  • Apply contacts/whitening eye drops prior
